Xenya is excited to part of the Idaho Breastfeeding Coalition Board! Xenya is a program manager in the Maternal & Child Health Section, within the Idaho Division of Public Health. Xenya found her passion for maternal and child health while attending the University of Colorado, Denver to obtain her Master’s in Public Health and Masters of Public Administration. Xenya’s capstone project was to assist with the development and implementation of Idaho’s Maternal Mortality Review Program. As a new breastfeeding mom, Xenya is looking forward to helping other mothers in Idaho and reduce barriers to breastfeeding.
