Excellence in Breastfeeding Awards

The Idaho Breastfeeding Coalition presents annual awards to acknowledge excellence in breastfeeding care by individuals, groups of advocates or organizations who fulfill the IBC Mission and Vision to protect, support and promote breastfeeding as the biological norm for a healthier Idaho.

These awards recognize exceptional dedication, creativity, and leadership in facilitating environments where barriers to breastfeeding are addressed within Idaho communities.

Individual Award: The Dr. Jane Grassley Excellence in Breastfeeding Award
This award is to acknowledge an IBCLC who has shown exceptional and significant dedication and leadership throughout their career in promoting, supporting, and protecting breastfeeding and breaking down the barriers in Idaho.

Group Award: Exemplary Professional Leadership Award
This award recognizes a team of professionals, business or employer who has shown exceptional dedication, creativity, and exemplary leadership in facilitating environments where barriers to breastfeeding are addressed within their community.

Trailblazer Award: New IBCLC Doing Amazing Things
This award is to acknowledge an IBCLC who is new to the profession and has shown exceptional interest and innovation in lactation care and in changing their community landscape or culture of breastfeeding to promote, support, and protect breastfeeding and break down the barriers in Idaho.
